10 totally carefree days! Eva (our host) was welcoming and explained how all the tech gadgets work. There was also a booklet that was helpful. Plenty of pool towels as well as sheets. We will return.

We found De Anza Modern / Oasis Rentals through our search for dog-friendly rentals in Palm Springs and loved everything we saw in the photos. We were thrilled with the place from the moment we walked in and thought the house was even better than the photos depicted. It's both a cute house (very nicely decorated) and comfortable at the same time - and that's a good thing since we were unlucky with the weather so spent more time indoors than we thought we would. Even on a grey day, the house still seemed to fill with light.

The house was stocked with all that we needed and Chris at Oasis Rentals responded immediately to our text the first morning with a question about the wifi (which was even faster than our wifi at home). Both a gardener and a pool cleaner showed up the next morning after a big storm that left palm fronds strewn all over the yard and in the pool and put everything back into picture perfect shape....that was really impressive and gives you some idea about what a well-maintained rental it is.

To make this a balanced review we thought hard about 'cons' and could only come up with the fact that the heater in the house was really loud, but we expect that 99% of guests will never need to use the heater.

Finally, - and equally important - the location was also fabulous. It's a great neighborhood and we could easily walk into town and to Ruth Hardy Park.

We hope to come back and stay again soon.

Miraleste Retreat is the perfect place to stay in Palm Springs. Just three blocks from downtown,
in a quiet neighborhood. The whole house was decorated beautifully, the back yard pool and hot tub area beautiful as well..Attention to detail was everywhere- every piece of furniture looked new and the decorating was very well done. The mattresses on all of the beds were body foam and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked, including spices of all kinds, coffee and teas. Bikes were provided and there was even a shuffleboard table!
We are definitely coming back!!!!!

The house was perfect for our group of 8 friends (4-couples). The location is great, a short walk to North Palm Canyon Drive. The fire pit, spa and pool made the yard a perfect place for hanging out and relaxing. The house was big enough that we did not feel cramped and it was well stocked with everything we needed. Eva at Oasis was great to deal with. The entire experience was top notch. We can not wait to return.

My husband and I just returned from a four week stay at Movie Star Hideaway and we couldn't have been happier with the house or Eva, our host. The photos were absolutely true to the house. Beautifully appointed, whistle clean and wonderfully stocked with everything you could ask for. Although it was too chilly to use the pool, we loved the ambiance of the private back area and spent many mornings having breakfast on the deck. The neighborhood is lovely and very quiet while at the same time only minutes away from any destination. If you are looking for a comfortable home, I would highly recommend Movie-Star Hideaway.

This rental exceeded our expectations. We were expecting a nice and clean house. It exceeded that. This house was immaculately kept. It was so clean that would never worry about a 3 second rule on dropping food! At first we thought the labels everywhere were tacky, we actually realized it was a great idea to find out where things where and what they went to. The box of candles was a very nice touch.

The pictures are accurate except for one thing. The property has a shuffleboard puck game like in Dave and Buster's. I swear the board was warped only when I played because I lost all the time :( That little addon kept our whole family entertained for hours. We found ourselves talking about the games days after we left.

Kudos to who ever decorated and set up this house. It really felt like it fit into the motif that is Palm Springs.

We wholeheartedly recommend this property and look forward to visiting it again in the future.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Miraleste Retreat and wanted to thank Oasis for the wonderful upgrades they completed this past summer. All 3 bathrooms have been updated and I think they made the showers larger. They are huge! Two large livings rooms have been redecorated with new furniture and they are gorgeous. If you enjoy outdoor living, like we do, you will really love the backyard. It is so beautiful with the heated pool and the view of the mountains. Add the hot tub and the privacy and you have a perfect backyard retreat. We love being able to walk to the restaurants and enjoyed Tropicale, Trio, Kitchen Workshop and the Casino right down the street. Thank you Miraleste Retreat for the wonderful stay!!!

This is a great house in a great location. I stayed the entire month and had friends rotate for a visit. Everyone enjoyed it. It felt very private and it's a lot of fun to stay in a house that's on a golf course. The master bedroom is nearly half the house and the other rooms are also very spacious. The living room TV is also equipped with Netflix and Amazon, which is not listed in the description of the property.

The house was very cute and charming. It was simplistic in its offering, meaning the house was not high tech. The internet was a little slow, and there was only one small Television, however it had everything you would need for a relaxing low tech weekend. Much of the furnishing was retro and we found it very charming. In particularly we enjoyed the record player and large assortment of vinyl. We didn't need for anything, the home was very well stocked with dishes and towels. The neighborhood was quiet, the pool was warm and there was more than enough room for the six of us int he home. The Pool and hot tub heated quickly, and we really enjoyed the central location.
