This is a great house in a great location. I stayed the entire month and had friends rotate for a visit. Everyone enjoyed it. It felt very private and it's a lot of fun to stay in a house that's on a golf course. The master bedroom is nearly half the house and the other rooms are also very spacious. The living room TV is also equipped with Netflix and Amazon, which is not listed in the description of the property.

The house was very cute and charming. It was simplistic in its offering, meaning the house was not high tech. The internet was a little slow, and there was only one small Television, however it had everything you would need for a relaxing low tech weekend. Much of the furnishing was retro and we found it very charming. In particularly we enjoyed the record player and large assortment of vinyl. We didn't need for anything, the home was very well stocked with dishes and towels. The neighborhood was quiet, the pool was warm and there was more than enough room for the six of us int he home. The Pool and hot tub heated quickly, and we really enjoyed the central location.

The Movie-Star Hideaway is a wonderful place to stay. The photos describe the rental in detail but seeing it in person is something you have to experience. Photos cannot capture the warmth and joy this place delivers on a vacation. The hosts were welcoming and accommodated more than enough of our needs. The neighborhood was very quite and peaceful. We will recommend The Movie-Star Hideaway to anyone and we will be coming back soon.

The house was excellent -- exactly as advertised. It is located in a very nice (and quiet) neighborhood of Palm Springs and not too far from most of the action (nice restaurants, bars, etc.). We were visiting as five couples and we had a great time hanging out in the pool and spa, as well as the outdoor fireplace. It's a gas fire place but actually puts out enough heat to sit by on a chilly desert evening - very cozy. The kitchen is well stocked and common areas very enjoyable. Great restaurants are actually a walk-able distance or a short 5-10 minute car ride. We used Uber around the city and it was very easy. We had one issue with a broken door that was spotted upon check in by a person in our party and Eva had a repair person in to fix it promptly the next morning. Eva was also responsive by email ahead of the stay and by text during the stay. Overall, service was excellent! Note that you have to pay Palm Springs occupancy tax above and beyond the stated rate, this seems standard for the area. It's a bit confusing at first but not a big deal. Pool heat is extra but was totally worth it for us. We would definitely return -- thanks for the excellent service, Eva!

We rented this home for the week before our daughter's wedding. We had family flying in and wanted a comfortable place for us to all be together. The Retro Classic was a perfect choice! There is a reason for the name which includes the retro furnishings and record player with old vinyl to play! Awesome touch! The backyard was very comfortable with the pool and spa and plenty of seating. I can honestly say that this was the most completely outfitted kitchen we've ever experienced with many cooking gadgets/utensils, and plenty of dishes and glasses for the 8 people this house is accommodates. Believe me, that is not always the case! Thank you so much to Eva for greeting us and giving us the complete tour and information on the home when we arrived! A great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to return to Oasis Rentals and the Retro Classic!

We enjoyed our stay! So relaxing and just what we needed. Great location too!

We arrived in the early afternoon of a gorgeous fall day. It took us 3 minutes to find the sweet spot on our private pool deck. Views over the pool at the palm trees and Mount San Jacinto beyond. We stayed put poolside for the sunset behind the mountain. We walked to dinner and then took the Buzz bus for a tour of Palm Springs night life. Morning hike and then the same routine on Saturday including poolside, sunset and walk to dinner. On Sunday we biked to breakfast and then the sweet spot by the poolside again. We will be back.

If you are looking for a honeymoon retreat or a family vacation, the Miraleste Retreat cant be beat! This quiet, secluded property entertains in many aspects. I loved the Modernism decor including the Tiki room!! We lounged all day in the lovely pool enjoying the amazing view of Mt. San Jacinto from our lounge chairs. The back yard is big and gorgeous and graced w/ tall, swaying palm trees!! The close proximity of the retreat to downtown allowed us to stroll through the quiet "Movie Colony" neighborhood to dine in the fine selection of delicious Palm Springs restaurants. We rode the bikes provided, to breakfast , it was a hoot, Although it was just my husband and I, I know my kids would have loved it and it is spacious enough for all, a very open floor plan. The owners are very accommodating, programming the air to be on when we arrived and making sure everything was clean. This place is top notch, we will definitely return!!

Tangerine Modern is a great house for a group of friends. It's spacious and can accommodate a large group without feeling like you are on top of each other. The outdoor pool deck with fire pit and hot tub is a perfect place to spend an entire day (or weekend). We loved his house and neighborhood and plan to return.
