Welcome to The Junipero, a striking modern Palm Springs home inspired by iconic ranch-style architect Cliff May. Built in 2012 and set on a large corner lot, this private gated compound offers mountain views from every room and a seamless connection between indoors and out.

 

The light-filled Great Room features clean lines, white porcelain tile floors, and walls of sliding glass doors that open to the pool and patio. Relax in the stylish living area with a 75" TV, low-slung sofa, and modern lounge chairs, or gather around the movable bar for cocktails. A vintage-style freestanding Malm fireplace (decorative) adds a playful mid-century vibe.

 

The open kitchen is fully equipped with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and everything needed for home cooking or poolside meals, including colorful outdoor-friendly dishware.

 

Sleeping arrangements are thoughtfully designed for comfort and privacy:

 

Primary suite with king bed, pool and mountain views, ample storage, and ensuite bathroom with walk-in tiled shower

 

Guest suite on the opposite side of the home with California king bed, flat-screen TV, walk-in shower, and direct pool access

Third bedroom/office with queen Murphy bed, large desk for two, and private patio facing the mountains

Blackout shades in the bedrooms ensure restful sleep.

Highly recommend this property!

Overall great experience and would definitely rent here again. The layout of the house is the best. Main primary bedroom and guest bedrooms on opposite ends of house, separated by large open living space and kitchen with all rooms accessible to pool. Very well equipped kitchen, probably best of any of the places we've stayed at in the past. Nice laundry machines. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large and nicely decorated. Clean, fairly new showers. Backyard was super private. Pool and hot tub were fantastic. Outdoor living and dining area. Property was in a very nice neighborhood, close to some of the famous houses and landmarks. Close to downtown strip. Lots of nice touches, such as laundry supplies, kitchen staples, games, basic toiletries, extra blankets and pillows. Communication with property manager was super responsive. Highly recommend this property!

Wow!

We stayed three weeks in The Junipero house. What a place! The home had a wonderful pool and spa, excellent outdoor amenities like a terrific gas grill and even fruit trees (orange tree, tangerine tree, etc). The landscaping was immaculate and everything was in good working condition.

The interior of the home was outstanding. The home was spotless upon our arrival. The home was very well stocked. Every kitchen utensil was available. The furniture was very clean and functional. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well designed.

I could go on and on with my positive comments. The views from the house are spectacular! We loved our time in Palm Springs and The Junipero was a big reason why we will almost certainly return.

Wonderful Property

I highly recommend The Junipero property. I stayed with my family for a week during the winter and it was a great spot for our first time in Palm Springs. The house had everything we could ask for, the property was clean, the beds were comfortable, the showers were big, the outdoor space was welcoming. I’m extremely happy with my choice, so happy that we would have extended our stay had it not been already booked for the next week.

Great place to stay in Palm Springs

We stayed at the Junipero Retreat for a month beginning in mid-January. We shared the house with another couple. The floor plan is perfect for two couples. We each had our own end of the house and shared the middle. All the rooms opened onto the pool deck. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. We also used the barbecue a lot. We liked having the garage. There was room for two vehicles and four bikes.
The yard was enclosed by a wall so our dog was free to wander outside without worrying he'd wander off. The location was great. We appreciated the close proximity to the downtown. We 'd wander downtown and grab a coffee or go shopping. We were also close to bike routes and there was hiking a short drive away. This was our first experience renting a house and found it very positive.
