This stunning 3000+sf, completely remodeled, designer decorated home is located in one of the best corner lots in Las Palmas (Central Palm Springs by the San Jacinto Mountains) in a highly desirable and affluent part of town, only minutes from all the restaurants and action in Downtown Palm Springs, yet quiet and secluded.

 

Constructed in 1960 by the renowned Alexander Construction Company, The Tangerine Dream features an open floor plan with wonderful indoor-outdoor flow, exceptional light exposures, ultra-modern furnishings and exquisite art all around. The home has undergone extensive updates, creating the ultimate luxury destination for "Desert Living". The Master Suite offers a King-sized bed, Flat Screen TV, and en-suite bathroom with oversized glass and tile shower. A large sliding door opens onto the Patio, providing direct access to the pool and spa, as well as a semi-private sitting area. Three additional Guest Rooms are located in the Main House; with one featuring a California King-sized bed with en-suite bath and Shower and Spa Tub, and the two remaining featuring a Queen-sized bed and dual twins, which both share an oversized full bath with oversized glass and tile shower. The Fifth Bedroom is located in the poolside Casita and features a King-sized bed, private Mountain View patio and en-suite bath. All Bedrooms also offer Flat Screen TVs with full cable access.


Tangerine Twist brings indoor living to the outdoors, with the Pool Patio offering an outdoor Dining Area, Gas BBQ, multiple chaise lounges and plenty of additional seating. The home features wonderful mountain views to the South and West; the large rectangular pool features LED lighting and an elevated Spa with spillover. A poured concrete bench provides ample seating by the modern gas fire feature, perfect for enjoying an evening outdoors with family and friends! Subtle LED lighting is featured throughout the patio, casting beautiful hues throughout as evening progresses.

NO Smoking indoors or outdoors except in designated smoking areas. 100% compliance with Palm Springs Vacation Rental Ordinance 1848 is required for all rentals. NO parties or gatherings are permitted. NO Outdoor Music is permitted 24 hours/ 7 days a week, 365 days a year. NO outside noise 10 pm - 8 am & Maximum Occupancy of 13 people day/ 10 night is strictly enforced by city ordinance. Parking for 5 cars ONLY (1 per bedroom) 5 is the maximum permitted cars to park on property or near the property. The city will be patrolling and counting cars.

Great house , great location

Our group stayed here in June. We couldnt have asked for more. Five good sized bedrooms and four good sized baths. Easily big enough for a party of six, and the back yard was great. Plenty of room for everyone, and the mountains were so close it seemed you could reach out and touch them. Oasis was great to work with from start to finish. Even let us in a couple of hours early. Thank you again.

Just as pictured!

The home has the perfect location in the Vista Las Palmas section of Palm Springs - quiet streets with tons of mid-century modern architecture and great landscaping; perfect for walking and 3 minute drive to downtown. Love the open floor plan and all the sunlight streaming through the floor to ceiling windows throughout the home.

The kitchen was update with modern stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and oven. Plenty of cookware and utensils to make home cooking easy. All the pictures accurately reflect the home although it feels larger in person - the bedrooms are really quite large and all have TVs with all the options to login into. All the bathrooms are Modern and updated - water pressure was good and hot. Wifi was solid throughout the house. Washer + Dryer worked well.

We had the pool heated and was between 80 and 86, the hot tub heated up super quick - like 5 minutes to 100+. Loved it.

Perfect family getaway

We had Thanksgiving at Tangerine Modern with our family "qurantine bubble." The location was amazing with beautiful mountain views. The house was super clean and organized. The pool was also amazing. We loved our stay so much and would love to return.

Great family house

The house was perfect for our family. It was clean and neat. Eric was on the spot to get the spa up and running.
It was well stocked and there was a new bbq. The cooktop in the kitchen has lighting issues that should be addressed.
Other than that, it is a great family retreat for relaxation.

Great House!!!

The house is great and in amazing neighborhood. We found trails just around the corner and enjoyed strolling the area early in the morning. Very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped!

Great family escape

Nine of us spent a week at this property. With 3 ensuite bedrooms all with king beds this place was ideal for large family gathering with multiple couples involved. Pool and hottub were perfect for the kids who came along 2&4. Pool isn't too deep and has nice shallow toddler area as well. Home is gorgeous, huge kitchen had plenty of room for many people to help prepare dinners. Location was really nice, only a 10 min walk to shops of PS, while being tucked away in the nice neighbourhood of old Las Palmas among some historic homes. Everything was as it looked in the photos. House is nicely renovated, and well kept. It was clean and the rep from Oasis met us on time to check in and gave us a great tour of the house before. TV room was nice to have (full Roku so plenty to watch), kids could easily unwind with a movie, while still being close to the action as we prepared dinner. We'll be back.

Peaceful getaway

With five bedrooms -- three of them masters -- this beautiful modern get-away was perfect for our family gathering. We enjoyed the comfortable lay-out, and the view of the mountains from the pool area is stunning. We were within easy walking distance from coffee shops on the main drag through town. The numerous warnings about rules and regulations in Palm Springs initially were quite off-putting, but we experienced no problems. We enjoyed being out by the pool and hot tub as a group with no complaints, and it was quite pleasant. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, and it is understandable that the neighbors would want to keep it that way. Management was friendly, courteous and responsive. A fairly major plumbing problem kept us from using one of the bathrooms on the first day, but the property manager had a plumber out within hours and cleaned up the resulting mess himself. The next day, which was a Sunday, he had a maintenance man out right away when the garage door wouldn't operate properly. The fireplace inside the living room has been capped and cannot be used, but there is a nice outdoor fireplace that we were able to enjoy. Overall, it is a nice retreat for those looking for a peaceful gathering spot close to town.

Beautiful Location Near Downtown Palm Springs

Tangerine Modern is a beautiful home located in a nice walkable neighborhood and also walkable to downtown. The house is large with expansive views of the mountains from almost every room. The pool, hot tub, and firepit made for sociable gatherings. When problems arose, response was quick to resolve. The place is very comfortable and generally well furnished. If you like to cook, there is a large grill connected to the house gas supply so no running out of gas. We've rented this house before and enjoyed it both times.

Perfect for the Family

We were looking for a place that seemed like it would be hard to find. My wife, two little kids, and I were joined by my parents and my brother, his wife, and his young child. We wanted a place with 5 bedrooms that was mid century modern but not kid-unfriendly. This place was it.

The place was modern and the furnishings not likely to be broken by an errant child running through the house. The pool was perfect with a large, shallow shelf. It could be seen from nearly any point in the house, making it comfortable for small children.

The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The couple minor issues (sound didn't work in one TV) were fixed quickly by the staff. Everyone was responsive and friendly. We will undoubtedly be back again.

Wonderful House

Oasis Rentals manages this property and they were very quick to respond to any questions I had during the rental process. They were ready for me when we showed up at the house to check in and provided a walk through to answer any questions. Everything at the house was as described (with the exception of the indoor fire place which we were told not to use). We had 10 guests and everyone was very comfortable. We used the outdoor space the majority of our stay and had no issues with noise. If we were to ever come back to Palm Springs we would definitely rent this property again, thank you!!

Perfect Vacation

The house was perfect for our group of 8 friends (4-couples). The location is great, a short walk to North Palm Canyon Drive. The fire pit, spa and pool made the yard a perfect place for hanging out and relaxing. The house was big enough that we did not feel cramped and it was well stocked with everything we needed. Eva at Oasis was great to deal with. The entire experience was top notch. We can not wait to return.

A Perfect House!

The house was excellent -- exactly as advertised. It is located in a very nice (and quiet) neighborhood of Palm Springs and not too far from most of the action (nice restaurants, bars, etc.). We were visiting as five couples and we had a great time hanging out in the pool and spa, as well as the outdoor fireplace. It's a gas fire place but actually puts out enough heat to sit by on a chilly desert evening - very cozy. The kitchen is well stocked and common areas very enjoyable. Great restaurants are actually a walk-able distance or a short 5-10 minute car ride. We used Uber around the city and it was very easy. We had one issue with a broken door that was spotted upon check in by a person in our party and Eva had a repair person in to fix it promptly the next morning. Eva was also responsive by email ahead of the stay and by text during the stay. Overall, service was excellent! Note that you have to pay Palm Springs occupancy tax above and beyond the stated rate, this seems standard for the area. It's a bit confusing at first but not a big deal. Pool heat is extra but was totally worth it for us. We would definitely return -- thanks for the excellent service, Eva!

Perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends

Tangerine Modern is a great house for a group of friends. It's spacious and can accommodate a large group without feeling like you are on top of each other. The outdoor pool deck with fire pit and hot tub is a perfect place to spend an entire day (or weekend). We loved his house and neighborhood and plan to return.

Excellent House

Neighborhood and house were lovely. Host was very accommodating and made us feel welcome..even brought us a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving, which we gladly devoured. Thanks Chris for making our stay enjoyable! Only negative was that the fireplace was not working.
